Recently we have re-factored two pre-programmed alerts on the Juggle platform to help you spot issues at your sites quickly and make sure everything is running as it should.
## Missing Readings
This alert lets you know if any monitoring devices have stopped sending data. It checks devices every hour and highlights which ones aren’t reporting. For sites with JBox communications hardware, it also gives extra information to help tell if the problem is the device or the site’s connection.
**Why it’s useful**:
Gives early warning of connectivity or maintenance issues
Helps your team fix problems before they impact monitoring
## Poor PV Performance
This alert monitors your solar PV systems for devices that are **underperforming or not generating power**. It looks at data from the last 24 hours and flags any devices that may need attention. Sites with export limits are only flagged for serious issues, like zero generation.
**Severity levels**:
- Info: minor/early warning
- Warning: noticeable performance issues
- Critical: zero generation
**Why it’s useful**:
Helps spot PV systems that might be dirty, shaded, or have equipment issues
Alerts you quickly if the system stops producing altogether
## Managing Alerts
If you need to, you can mute these alerts for specific sites in your admin settings. The alerts will continue to be produced, but your account will be unsubscribed from the notifications. These alerts are here to make it easier to keep your sites running smoothly and catch problems early.
